Real Destination Wedding // Sonoma, California

Um… this could quite possibly be my dream wedding!  The colors and design of this beautiful vineyard wedding are stunning.  I’ll let the awesome photographer Travis Hoehne tell you more.  This is straight from his awesome blog:

“This was one of the very rare occasions where I actually met Rebecca & Scott for the first time on their wedding day. We had spoken on the phone and had email back and forth, but no face time had been logged yet. And to be honest I wasn’t worried in the least bit… we hit it off right away and had a killer time taking pictures all day. Their wedding was at the amazingly beautiful Chateau St. Jean in Sonoma CA and it was coordinated by one of my favorite people and event planner extraordinaire Sarah (G-Dawg) Ghazzagh!!! If you are looking for a venue and planner you need to contact these guys because they will blow your mind with pure wedding awesomeness!!!

Thanks Rebecca and Scott for being so ridiculously fun to work with and I’ll look forward to hanging out with you guys in DC next time I’m there!!!

Enough of the reading… on with the eye candy!!!”

ABOUT SONOMA:

Sonoma is part of wine country in Northern California.   The climate is usually quite dry and sunny for most of the year.  The weather and the soil happen to be perfect for growing grapes so you will have no problem planning a wine tasting tour of several famous wineries for your guests!  Because of the arid climate, you can expect it to be quite hot during the day in the summer, and cool in the winter.

HOW TO GET THERE:

The easiest way to get to wine country is to fly into one of San Francisco’s major airports:  SFO, OAK, or SJC.  The drive is about an hour and a half but is very beautiful!
