Wow… just wow. I love how Aaron Dieppa describes this wedding as “epic”… so true! This destination wedding in Rome is just fabulous!
Here’s what Aaron had to say about photographing this stunning wedding:
“Epic moments like these only happen once in a lifetime and I was fortunate enough to be there to witness it. Crowds of Italians surrounded us clapping and yelling “Bella sposa! Bella sposa!” drowning out the sound of my camera’s shutter. And as amazing as I felt at that moment, I knew that it could only have been a fraction of what Melinda and Ryan must have been feeling. The world was probably spinning around them as they stood there in front of the Pantheon. They were leaning up against the 2nd column from the right which was the exact spot where they fell in love. They both were from Toronto, Canada, but it was on a romantic evening stroll years ago through the streets of Rome that they decided to stop outside of the Pantheon and declare their love for eachother.
Every moment of their wedding was immensely beautiful. From the intimate ceremony in the 1500 year old Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica, to the formal dinner at the Brunello Lounge in the five-star Regina Hotel Baglioni, to the after-dark photo shoot outside the Colosseum. There wedding was breathtaking every step of the way.”

The pictures are breathtaking and capture the granduer of the city and this beautiful wedding. I am amazed at all of the details captured. I love Aarons work so much. I cannot wait to see the pictures he takes for my sisters wedding.

Aaron’s photos elicit the romance I felt when I traveled to Rome. Seeing the cathedrals, the ancient architecture frozen in time, and the beuatiful couple so in love really brings the city back to life for me. These aren’t just photos, they are works of art!
